Close the Gallery

(Version 1) 

Fluxjob, 'a major exhibition of contemporary flux-work', was shown at the Minnesota Center for Book Arts, Minneapolis, USA from 7 February to 6 July 2014. The exhibition was co-curated by Jeff Rathermel (Executive Director, MCBA) and noted Fluxus artist, publisher and performer Keith Buchholz.

The above version of the 'close the gallery' score was exhibited and performed as part of that exhibition, with the text messages crossing the world from Minneapolis, USA to/from Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.

Two subsequent versions of the score (see below) were submitted for performance at the annual Fluxfest, Chicago in February 2014 and were published in the festival's scorebook (Fluxfest Chicago Scorebook 2014).
